Purpose
As a community of the people of
God we show our love of neighbor by supporting one another in time of need.
As St. Paul so aptly put it: "If one member suffers in the body of Christ,
which is the Church, all the members suffer with that member" (1 Corinthians
12:26)
The service of the Bereavement Ministry will enable us to put our faith into
action by offering:
- Greeters at the Church to
assist friends and family in feeling at home on our campus.
- Coordination and assistance
with a meal following the Funeral Service
- House sitting or other needs
the family may have
- Support in the months that
follow the Funeral
The Cathedral Women's Group is in
the process of forming groups of volunteers (men and women) who are willing to
assist families of parishioners at the time of death of a family member.
Please complete and submit the form below to volunteer.
