Solemn Vespers
Sunday,
November 23, 2008
4:30 p.m. - Cathedral
I am writing to let you know that next Sunday, November 23, the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King,
the Cathedral Choir will sing Solemn Vespers in the Cathedral at 4:30 PM.
The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed, and the service will conclude with Benediction. The service will last approximately 45 minutes.
This could be an opportunity for those to whom you minister to participate in the official public prayer of the Church in a manner not frequently available, and to be exposed to elements of Catholic Culture with which they may be unfamiliar.
All are warmly invited.

Presenters for the Sunday morning classes are Patout Burns, Edward A. Malloy Professor of Catholic Studies at Vanderbilt Divinity School, and David Dault, assistant professor of Theology at American Baptist College. The classes take place in
room 303 St. Albert Hall from 9:45- 10:45 a.m. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
